A little Christmas magic...yes please!

We got a last minute call seeking help.
This adorable little man was recently diagnosed with cancer and understandably his family has been struggling.
Too sick to go see Santa, the family was looking for a personal visit and heard about our Adopt A Grandparent Holiday Program and how Santa always makes an appearance.
When I got the call, I reached out to our favorite Santa, Tim Olsen Sr, and he immediately agreed to make this home visit. His love of sharing the meaning of Christmas always melts my heart.
We believe the true spirit of the holiday is spreading love and kindness to those that may need it the most, and we are honored that we were able to play a small part in making this little man’s Christmas wish come true.
You’ll be in our thoughts and prayers as you continue your fight little man…Merry Christmas to you and your family.

We did it again McHenry County and our hearts are so grateful to you!
The 2022 Adopt A Grandparent Holiday Program was a huge success. Because of you over 500 seniors, veterans and military family members are reminded that they are not alone.
This year's seniors included those from Lutheran Social Service of Illinois Gable Point, Alden Terrace, Fair Oaks, Crossroads, McHenry County Senior Services and the Villagers, to name a few.
Gifts were provided to low income seniors and senior veterans, handmade gifts were provided to military members, warm winter gear was provided to homeless veterans and our team provided holiday gifts to a military family that sadly just lost their mother and a local Crystal Lake family.
We made a difference, we spread blessings far and wide, and that my friends is what Christmas is all about.
